Obituary
John Christensen, age 84 of Underwood, formerly of McClusky, ND, died August 11, 2010 at a Bismarck hospital. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date in Hinsdale, Montana.
John "Johnny" G. Christensen was born July 21, 1926 in Voltaire, ND to Augustas and Jennie Christensen. He moved to McClusky, ND with his wonderful and loving companion Arlene Peterson and lived there for many years. In April 2008, he became a resident of the Prairieview Nursing Home in Underwood.
He is survived by one brother, Henry Christensen (Audrey) of Cashmere, WA; one sister, Leona Giese (Rueben) of Billings, MT; his companion of 17 years, Arlene Peterson of McClusky, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers (Robert & Leroy), and two sisters (Nora Scheile and Martha Sauer).
