Jerry Ryan Kellar, 42, Wilton, ND lost his life on June 29, 2018, in a tragic accident doing what he loved most, camping at New Johns Lake. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Sunne Lutheran Church, rural Wilton, ND with Pastors Paul Schauer and Kevin Kaufmann officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Sunne Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Wilton. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Sunne Lutheran Church.
Jerry "Tuffy" was born October 12, 1975 in Bismarck, ND the son of Lloyd Kellar and Arlene (Rose) Kellar. He attended Wilton Elementary School and graduated from Wilton High School in 1994.
Jerry married the love of his life, LeeAnn Domonoske on September 11, 2009. He was a loving father to Seth, Tanner, and Brandon. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend. Jerry was employed as a supervisor with Garrison Diversion.
Jerry enjoyed traveling, attending Garth Brook's concerts with LeeAnn, trying new foods (like bacon donuts), golfing, and spoiling his beloved dogs. He loved cooking and entertaining for friends and family, especially on the 4 th of July. He and LeeAnn loved camping with nephews Nathan (Hayley) Speten, Troy (Emily) Speten and their kids, along with the rest of the "Little Wilton Crew." He also loved working on and showing off his elaborate light display at Christmas.
Jerry was a huge NDSU Bison fan and made his first cross country trip to Frisco this year to attend the championship game with Tim Kellar, who was not only his big brother, but his best friend. Jerry was extremely proud of his son Seth; especially of his racing accomplishments in his number "07" sport compact car. His love to argue with his boys was a special trait that he loved and did extremely well.
Jerry is survived by his wife, LeeAnn (Loney) Wilton; his sons Seth Howe-Kellar, Wilton, Tanner Domonoske, Fargo, Brandon Domonoske, Wilton; his brothers and sisters, Tim (Brenda) Kellar, Bismarck, Susan Lemier, Bismarck, Robert Kellar, Mandan, Larry (Susan) Kellar, Mound City, SD, Marilyn (Burel) Monroe, Baldwin, Charles Kellar, Lake Elsinore, CA, Steve (Ginny) McCallum, Bismarck, Dennis(Verna) McCallum, Bismarck, Rodney (Kristen) McCallum, Raleigh, NC, Kathy (Gary) Speten, Wilton; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Nancy (Jim) Legerski, Bismarck and brother-in-law, Rob (Shandar) Loney, Tioga, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one baby sister, Lynda McCallum; one brother, Richard Kellar; and his father-in-law, Roland Loney.
We all love you and you will be truly missed.
