Jerri L. Stavig, 44, of Turtle Lake, ND, died March 20, 2016 in the Community Memorial Hospital, Turtle Lake. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday March 24, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake, ND with Pastor Sondra Krogstad officiating.

Jerri was born March 11, 1972 in Turtle Lake the daughter of Byron and Mavis (Seeger) Lindteigen. She was raised and educated in Turtle Lake. She graduated from Turtle Lake High School in 1990. Jerri worked as a nanny in New York for a short period of time. She returned to North Dakota and became a CNA. She married Michael Stavig on August 10, 2002 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake. Jerri worked as a CNA at Prairieview Nursing Home in Underwood and at Souris Valley Care Center in Velva until her health started to fail.

Jerri enjoyed camping, driving her Shetland ponies in competitions and most of all spending time with her children.

Jerri is survived by her husband, Mike of Turtle Lake; her children, Tony Lindteigen of Ft. Worth, TX, Aaron Stavig of Turtle Lake, Christopher Stavig and Carrijo Stavig both of Williston, ND; her granddaughter, Aryeah Lindteigen of Ft. Worth, TX; her father Byron Lindteigen of Minnesota; a brother Jim Lindteigen of Turtle Lake; sisters and brother-in-laws, Kathy Lindteigen of Turtle Lake. ND, Nadean and Ray Shannon of Sunrise Beach, MO, Jeanine Lindteigen of Valley City, ND, Jeannette and Billy Parker of Flin Flon, MB, Canada; half-brother, Myron Lindteigen and half-sister Paula Lindteigen both of Nebraska; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; her father and mother-in-law, Duane and Mary Stavig of Turtle Lake.

Jerri was preceded in death by her grandparents; her mother Mavis; two brothers Bob and Ron Lindteigen and two cousins, Kevin Hochsprung and Teresa Gottschall.
