Jerome "Jerry" A. Wiest, 94, of Washburn, ND, died Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Funeral service will be held at St. Edwin's Catholic Church, Washburn, ND on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:30AM. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Washburn, ND.

Jerome was born December 7, 1930, in Harvey, ND to John and Anna (Zerr) Wiest. He grew up in Harvey.

He worked for the railroad and joined the Local Labors Union. Jerome couldn't sit still and was often found working in the yard. He would make "log cabin" bird houses out of twigs. He enjoyed spending time with his gran-dogs

Jerome is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Karen, daughter Nicole, brother James, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Bertha, Helen, Lucielle, brothers Leo and Pius.
