Jeannette (Lindteigen) Parker the daughter of Byron and Mavis Lindteigen was born November 12, 1974 at the Turtle Lake Community Hospital and was raised in Turtle Lake, ND along with her 7 siblings. She was Baptized and Confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake and was a member of the Church until her passing. Her faith was important to her and provided her strength and comfort throughout her life. Jeannette attended school at the Turtle Lake-Mercer School and graduated in 1994. After graduation Jeannette moved to Flin Flon Manitoba. She married the love of her life Billy Parker on December 31, 2001 and together they raised 2 beautiful children Jeremy and Jazmine. She was very proud of her children and loved attending sporting and academic events for both. Jeannette was a very talented lady! She loved Crafting!! She loved to make homemade Christmas ornaments and wind-chimes. She loved the outdoors and nature with all its beauty and peace it had to offer. She loved to escape to her favorite "happy" place any chance she could (her cabin on the lake near Flin Flon). She loved to explore and be adventurous collecting heart shaped rocks and finding drift wood for her craft projects or searching for 4 leaf clovers. She enjoyed taking pictures of the breathtaking views that Flin Flon had to offer and the unique off road places she found on a road trip. She loved pontoon rides on the lake with friends and family. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes especially the ones for her sweet tooth. Everyone was always welcome to her home and she always offered a seat at her table. To know her was to feel her kindness and generosity. She loved wholeheartedly and unconditionally. Jeanette loved just being silly and laughing. She had a love and passion for life that goes unmeasured. She loved to feel the freedom of the open road riding her motorcycle and going on rides with friends and family. She loved gathering with family and friends and loved attending Country Fest and camping out with loved ones. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family and friends. She was a humble, caring and kind soul that touched the lives of all that knew her. She was a model of courage and strength. Her love for family showed through her compassionate ways. She was the magic that made all of the holidays, birthdays, and special occasions unforgettable. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, granddaughter, friend and caregiver to all of us. She led by example with her strength, selflessness and her beautiful heart. In 2004 Jeannette began her courageous battle with Breast Cancer undergoing numerous treatments and procedures and appointments mostly driving long hours from home but she didn't let it get her down. She always stayed positive and had the biggest smiles for you no matter what she was going through. According to Jeannette she was fine she just had a little cancer and then she would laugh. Her laugh was contagious. Her smile warm and inviting. Jeannette courageously went toe to toe with breast cancer for 20 years and ended her battle January 26th, 2024. She was a warrior to the end!
