Jeanette M. Scholl, age 76 of Minot, ND, formerly of Washburn, ND, died Monday, February 27, 2006 at a Minot nursing home.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the
Birka Lutheran Church of rural Washburn.

Jeanette was born September 21, 1929 at rural Underwood, ND to John & Elsie (Laudenschlager) Moore. She was raised in Turtle Lake, ND and graduated from Turtle Lake High School. Jeanette received a teaching certificate from Minot State Teachers College and taught at a rural school near Falkirk, ND. She married Harry Scholl, Jr. on June 12, 1948 at Fargo, ND. They lived and farmed 10 miles west of Washburn, ND for many years and raised 4 children. Harry passed away in February 1967. Jeanette lived in Washburn for many years and worked at the local Tastee Freez. She moved to Minot in the late 1980's and worked in the Foster Grandparent Program teaching elementary school children until her retirement in 2002. She became a resident of Trinity Homes in 2003.

She is survived by 2 Sons: George (Jolene Wolf) Scholl of Washburn, ND,
& Steve (Glenda) Scholl of Washburn, ND; 2 Daughters: Jenene (Mike) Kittleson of Benedict, ND, & Marian (Dwaine) Gullickson of Minot, ND; 10 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Gerald (Ella) Moore of Rapid City, SD, & Glen (Irene) Moore of Bismarck, ND; 1 Sister: Betty (Leland) Kvamme of Florida; & many Nieces & Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Harry), 3 brothers (Herbert, Phillip, & Kenny Moore), 3 sisters (her twin Jean Schilling, Lucille Timm, & Fern Nelson).
