Janeen Ann Kaseman, 51, died peacefully October 21, 2022 at Sanford Hospital surrounded by her family after a three-year battle with cancer.  Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.  Pastor Richard Cook will officiate the service.  The family will greet family and friends an hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Janeen Ann Kaseman was born December 31, 1970 in Bismarck, North Dakota the daughter of Wayne and Eileen (Gimbel) Kiemele.  She grew up on the family farm 10 miles north of Linton near Temvik.  She graduated from Hazelton Moffit High School in 1989.  During high school she met a shy young man from Wishek, North Dakota, Kirby Kaseman, who became the love of her life.  They united in marriage on August 31, 1990 in Linton, North Dakota.  They resided and raised their three children in Wishek until moving to Bismarck in 2012.

Janeen was born to be a caregiver.  During her career as a CNA/CMA, she worked at the Wishek Living Center and later at Sanford Health in Bismarck.  She made strong, lasting friendships with many residents, patients and co-workers.  Janeen had a heart of gold and was also an amazing singer.  She had a strong faith and loved the lord.  She especially loved spending time with her family and her two dogs (Missy and Buddy) who miss her dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Kirby, of Bismarck, ND; sons: Derrick (Gina) Kaseman of Lincoln, ND; Dustin Kaseman of Bismarck, ND and Sydney (Simon Kayser) Kaseman of Bismarck, ND; mother Eileen Kiemele of Lincoln, ND; brother Scott (Sheila) Kiemele of Lincoln, ND; sister Susan (Mike) Muehler of Bismarck, ND; sisters-in-law: Sarah (William) Bettenhausen of Greeley, CO; Sheila (Kevin) Zaput of Prescott, AZ; Susan Kaseman of Wishek, ND; Sandra (Wayne) Kettelhut of Long Lake, SD; Sonia (Patrick) Gregory of Wishek, ND; Sheri (Christine Lindseth) Kaseman of Fargo, ND; brothers-in-law: Rodney Kaseman of Wishek, ND; Kevin Kaseman of Fargo, ND; Dean (MariLou) Kaseman of Wyndmere, ND; Daryl (Hazel) Kaseman of Wishek, ND; Raymond Jr. (Rose) Kaseman of Wishek, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Wayne Kiemele; mother and father-in-law: Peuna and Raymond Kaseman; paternal grandparents: Edward and Leona Kiemele; maternal grandparents: Emil and Nelda Gimbel; brother-in-law Randy Schlenker; nephew Chad Schlenker; nieces: Nicole Sanders and Ariana Kaseman; and her very special dog Sweetie.
