Jamie Westrum, 28, Center, ND died April 26, 2024.  A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at First Lutheran Church, Washburn with Pastor Randy Emgarten officiating.

Jamie was born on April 11, 1996 in Bismarck ND the son of Shannon and Jeremy Westrum. He attended Center school for most of his schooling. Jamie was an avid outdoors person and had a love for gunsmithing. He was always quick to give a helping hand to those around him, no matter if he just met you or knew you his entire life. Growing up Jamie spent his better days with his twin brother, Alex. They enjoyed exploring the outdoors, whether it was fishing or going to the gun range. Jamie worked for the Center Park Board for most of his adult career.

There are not enough words or time to accurately describe who Jamie was or his impact on everyone around him. He was a loving man with a huge heart who was generous to a fault. He will be remembered for this, as well as for being kind, loyal & patient. He was tremendously loved and will be dearly missed.

Jamie is survived by his parents, Shannon Westrum-Metzger (Center) and Jeremy Westrum (Turtle-Lake); his siblings, Alex Westrum (Dickinson), Lindsey Westrum (Brent Heinle) and their son, Roman Heinle (Bismarck) and Electra Westrum (San Diego CA); his grandfathers, Eddie Weeks (Center) and Waldo Westrum (Turtle Lake). As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Toni Weeks (Center) and Kathy Westrum (Turtle Lake) and his uncle Sean Weeks.
