Hildur Gartner, age 84 of Turtle Lake, ND passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, Jan. 4, 2007 at the Turtle Lake Community Memorial Hospital.

Trinity Lutheran Church - Turtle Lake, ND;
Rev. Karen Nelson, Officiating;
Interment: Turtle Lake Cemetery;
Visitation: 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Sunday at Goetz Funeral Home - Turtle Lake;
Monday, 1 hour prior to time of service at the church.

Hildur, better known to her friends and family as "Hudie", was born October 16, 1922 at Roseglen, ND, the daughter to John & Hildur (Kvaale) Kerzman. She married Arthur "Art" Gartner on August 27, 1943 at Sidney, MT. The couple lived in Minot, Garrison, Riverdale, and Turtle Lake, ND. Art passed away in January 1984 following a long battle with cancer. Hildur continued to make her home in Turtle Lake and entered the Turtle Lake Hospital swing-bed unit in November 2004. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Turtle Lake American Legion Auxiliary for many years.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Bonnie (Jim) Schilling of Turtle Lake, ND;
2 sons, Larry Gartner of Bismarck, ND, & Raymond Gartner of Grand Forks, ND;
8 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Viola Golden of California, & Thelma Rickerett of Minot, ND; 2 brothers, Dennis Kerzman of Minot, ND, &
Dick Kerzman of Minot, ND; & many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Arthur), 1 sister (Pearl Kolden),
& 6 brothers (Art, Glenn, Harold, Robert, Harland, & Clinton Kerzman).
