Harold D. Steinwand, 74, Washburn, ND died June 26, 2015 at the Benedictine Living Center, Garrison, ND. Private services will be held.
Harold D. Steinwand was born on June 3, 1941, he was one of nine boys and two girls to Alfred and Lydia (Wentz) Steinwand. He attended country school and high school in Washburn.
He farmed with his brother, Clayton until retiring in 2000. During retirement Harold worked for Enerbase in Washburn.
He enjoyed reading and farming.
Harold is survived by his brothers, Elmer Steinwand of Bismarck, ND, Reuben (Jean) Steinwand of Langdon, ND, Arlie (Marcia) Steinwand of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Clayton Steinwand of Washburn and Curt Steinwand of Boston, MA; his sister, Darlene (Ryer) Thompson of Rugby, ND, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Clarence and a sister Paulette.
