Gary R. Sullwold, age 61 of Underwood, ND died August 30, 2012 at his home of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, Sept. 1 at the First Assembly of God Church in Underwood.

Gary was born November 13, 1950 in Riverdale, ND to Raymond & Louise (Lysdahl) Sullwold. He graduated from Underwood High School in 1969. Gary married Beverly Ann Wolf on June 14, 1972 in Washburn. They made their home four miles north of Underwood and raised four children. Gary was a member of the Laborers Local 580 for 30 years and served as President from 1985 to 1992. In his earlier years, Gary was an excellent roller skater. He loved fishing, gardening, and entertaining friends.

Gary is survived by his wife, Beverly Sullwold of Underwood; three children, Larry (Reyna) Sullwold of Underwood, Tammi (Ben) Zietz of Underwood, & Kerry Sullwold of Las Vegas, NV; 6 grandchildren, Nathan, Nataly, Nicholas, Kristin, Kara, & Keziah; his mother, Louise Sullwold of Underwood; one brother, Jerry Sullwold of Kingman, AZ; and two sisters, Rita Snyder of Underwood, & Nancy Walcker of Streeter, ND.

He was preceded in death by his father (Raymond), and one son (Perry).
