Gary Edinger, age 51 of Turtle Lake, ND passed away peacefully on Dec. 19th, 2010 at a Bismarck hospital with his family by his side.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, Dec. 23rd at the Turtle Lake United Methodist Church with Pastor Peder Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Turtle Lake Cemetery

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Goetz Funeral Home in Turtle Lake.

Gary Neal Edinger was born July 29th, 1959 in Turtle Lake to Clarence & Viola (Helm) Edinger. He was the youngest of five children and a blessing to all of us. We all took turns looking out for our little brother. Gary graduated from Turtle Lake High School and worked for the Lake Farm Store in Turtle Lake, Lakeside Implement in Garrison, and most recently the Barry's Jack & Jill Store in Turtle Lake. He enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by one sister, Patty Johnson of Spokane, WA; two brothers, Dennis (Sandy) Edinger of Bismarck, & Ray (Diana) Edinger of Turtle Lake; two nephews, Kevin Johnson of San Jose, CA, & Ken (Christie) Johnson of Spokane, WA; two nieces, Stacey (Mitch) Lang of Bismarck, & Sara Edinger of Bismarck; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces & great nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister (Sharon "Shari" Freuer).
