Galen had a talent for numbers which led to a lifelong career as an Auditor, Credit Manager, and Accounts Receivable Manager from Minnesota, to California, and to Nevada.
Marietta, Galen, and their daughter, Shari lived in Minnesota until 1983, when they moved to Huntington Beach, CA where Galen took a job in Long Beach, CA. In 1999, they moved to Henderson, NV to be closer to their daughter who works for the Dept. of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in North Las Vegas, NV.

Galen will be remembered by his family and friends for his love of sports, especially USC football, San Francisco 49ers, and his beloved St. Louis Cardinals. Galen enjoyed traveling to football games as well as visiting with his football friends. During the 20 plus years in California, you could always find Galen at Main Beach in Laguna Beach on weekends reading the newspaper and visiting with his friends along with his wife.
Galen was a devoted Christian all of his life. He is gone from our sight, but will remain forever in our hearts. We selfishly wanted him to remain on earth with us, but know in our hearts, he is in a better place. As he passed from this life entering Heaven, know that we love him and miss him very much. It is not goodbye, it is until we meet again.
