Frank M. Hauser, age 73 of Turtle Lake, ND died Monday, January 16, 2006 at a Bismarck hospital.

Frank Morgan Hauser was born October 21, 1932 at Bismarck, ND the son of Fred C. & Amy Mae (Morgan) Hauser. He attended school in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1950. Frank continued his education at the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton for 2 years. He enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard on October 20, 1952. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Coast Guard in October 1960. Frank returned to Bismarck, ND and was employed by the Bismarck Tribune circulation department. He married Leona L. Presser on January 3, 1978 at Bismarck.
They moved to Deadwood, SD where Frank was employed as a black jack dealer for many years. He enjoyed his life in Deadwood where he fulfilled his passion for dealing blackjack. Frank and Leona moved to Turtle Lake, ND in 1996. Leona passed away in August 1996. Frank continued to make his home in Turtle Lake and served as a part-time dealer for the American Legion Gaming Association and enjoyed fishing and rock collecting. He was a member of the American Legion Lawrence Stevenson Post #133 of Turtle Lake.

2 Step-Children: Peggy (Gerald) Kraft of Andover, NH, & Ellen (Dan) Wood of
Everett, WA; 3 Nephews: Guy (Kaye) Otteson of Bismarck, ND, Lee (Susan) Adams of Memphis, TN, & Tyler (Peggy) Adams of Memphis, TN; 2 Nieces: Nancy (Steve) Sershen of Chester, SD, & Ramelle (Mike) Johannsen of Stillwater, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife (Leona) & sister (Jean Otteson).
