Frank P. Boutilier, 94, of Rifle, CO, formerly of Riverdale, ND, died November 30, 2023 at the Grand River Health Care Center in Rifle, CO.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:00am at the Butte Cemetery, Butte, ND.

Frank was born April 3, 1929 in Granville, ND the son of Frank P. and Grace (Huddleson) Boutilier.  Frank married Dolores Johnson at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot, ND on June 27, 1951.  To this union 2 children were born, Bryan and Charlotte.  Bryan died on June 15, 2015.

Frank and Dolores lived in the Riverdale area most of their life.  Frank worked in the banking/finance industry most of his life.  He retired from the State Bank of ND where he was an auditor.  When they retired and needed more assistance, they moved to Colorado to be closer to their daughter.

Frank was a member of the Elks, and a member of St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church in Underwood.  He enjoyed caring for his dogs, boating, reading, guns, especially shooting skeet.  He also served as Municipal Judge for the city of Riverdale.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Charlotte (Boutilier) Bercher; 2 grandsons:  Ryan Kersten and Robert Bercher III; great grandchildren:  Hunter, Brock and Aubrie Bercher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Grace Boutilier; his son, Bryan and son-in-law, Robert Bercher Jr.; his sister, Darlene Harstad and a brother in infancy, Donald.
