Everett A. Hellman, 79, Bismarck, ND died January 7, 2023 in a Bismarck hospital.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Parkway Funeral Service in Bismarck with Pastor Rick Torkelson officiating.  Lunch will follow the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be held in the spring at Riverview Cemetery, Washburn.

Everett was born March 8, 1943 in Mandan, ND the son of Anton and Ella (Olson) Hellman.  He was raised and educated in Glen Ullin, ND.  He worked for Hebron brick Company for many years.  Everett then went to work as welder/boilermaker until retiring.  He married Janice Kost on July 2, 1980 in Washburn. They lived in Utah, Minnesota and Wilton until moving to Bismarck in December of 2021.

He enjoyed archery, hunting, guns and visiting with family and friends.  Everett was a member of the Local Boilermakers Union #647.

Everett is survived by his wife, Janice of Bismarck; his daughters, Jeri Rathbone-Hellman of Gully, MN and Theresa Allison (CJ Thompson) of Las Vegas, NV; his stepchildren, Kim Sheldon of Washburn, Laurie (Jeff) Wagner of Bismarck and Mike (Tammy) Kost of Aberdeen, SD; 9 stepgrandchildren and 12 step great-grandchildren; his sisters, Patty Sherping of Seattle, WA and Elizabeth of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Percy; 2 stepgrandchildren, Jessica and Joshua Wagner and a stepson-in-law, Tom Sheldon.
