Eva Marie (Senger) Leidholm, 81, formerly of Washburn, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at a Bismarck hospital surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Edwin's Catholic Church, Washburn. Interment will be at Birka Lutheran Cemetery, rural Washburn. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Vigil service at 7:00 PM Sunday at the church. Visitation will continue one hour prior to time of service at the church.

Eva was born September 24, 1936, at Dodge, ND, the daughter of Adam and Elizabeth (Streifel) Senger. Eva grew up on the farm and attended school in Dodge. She was united in marriage to Roy Leidholm on April 20, 1954 in Dodge. She was a lifelong resident of Washburn until 2014 when she moved into Lakewood Landing assisted living facility in Mandan, where she resided until her death. Eva was an expert cook and was very well known for her catering of many events, including the local Lions and Civic Club monthly meals. She also was instrumental in establishing the Washburn Volunteer Ambulance Squad. Eva's hobbies included cooking, crafting, crocheting, sewing and playing pinochle. She was a loving and special lady to everyone who had the privilege to know her. She was very proud of her kids and grandkids and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

Eva is survived by eight children; Cordell (Diane) of Dickinson, Dean (Geri) of Bismarck, Dwayne (Jan) of Vergas MN, Glynda (Jerry) Janz, of Mandan ND, Tammy (Jeff) Novak of Hayward WI, Brian (Tamra) of Reno NV, Karen (Gerard) Perkerewicz of Grafton ND, Sharon (Joel) Rivers of New Bern, NC; 21 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; one sister, MaryAnn (Ron) Flath of Garrison; two brothers, Dave (Jean) Senger of Minot and Joe (Judy) Senger of Apache Junction, AZ.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, a sister Leona, and a brother Larry.
