Obituary
Esther J. Willoughby, age 77 of Ruso, ND passed away on August 19, 2010 at the Brentmoor Assisted Living Center in Minot.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Aug. 26th at St. Olaf Lutheran Church of rural Turtle Lake with Pastor Randy Emgarten officiating.
There will be no visitation.
A private interment will be in the St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery.
Esther was born September 30, 1932 in Turtle Lake, ND to Arvie & Olga (Hagen) Corum. She lived her entire life in the Turtle Lake and Ruso area. Esther was a farmwife and partner to Roy Willoughby for 60 years. She was known for her courteous and compassionate manner.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Willoughby of Ruso; one son, Ricky Willoughby of Ruso; one daughter, Teresa (Dave) Putnam of Hartley, IA; five grandchildren which includes Chris (Leanne) Putnam of St. Louis, MO & Nikki Putnam of Davenport, IA; five great grandchildren; and two brothers, Oscar Corum of Minot & Loran Corum of Grafton.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters (Coral & Eleanor).
The family prefers memorials to the St. Olaf Lutheran Church (1703 13th St. NW, Turtle Lake, ND 58575)
