Eric Michael Frank was born January 10, 1977 at Glendive, MT to Robert & Marlene (Stevens) Frank. He spent most of his childhood living in Washburn, ND. As a youngster, Eric enjoyed many activities such as skateboarding and attempted to set the Guinness World Record for standing on his hands the longest. He used his mechanical inclination to invent things such as his own single-man pontoon boat. Eric graduated from Washburn High School in 1995. Following high school, he began to hone his trade as a carpenter and businessman in the custom homebuilding and commercial building industry. Eric successfully constructed and sold many properties in the Bismarck/Mandan area. He is remembered for his kindness to his employees and friends. To say the Eric was a talented individual would be an understatement, he was a self-taught carpenter, an enthusiastic fisherman, and an exceptional guitarist. His love for music and his ability to play guitar was obvious to those fortunate enough to witness his gift. Eric was a proud father and treasured every moment with his children, Matthew, Michael, & McKenzie. They in return loved and enjoyed their daddy very much. Eric took pride in teaching his kids how to play guitar, ride bike and 4-wheeler, and be successful at fishing. His children were the light of his life and he never grew tired of showing photographs of them and sharing in the milestones they achieved.
Those grateful to have shared in his life include his three children, Matthew, McKenzie, & Michael Frank of Mandan, ND; his parents, Robert & Marlene Frank of Washburn; two brothers, Christopher (Kristin) Frank of Moorhead, MN, & Aaron Frank of Washburn; grandmother, Shirley Stevens of Mandan; two nephews, Zachary & Logan Frank of Moorhead, MN; and many uncles, aunts, & cousins.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents (Emil & Elizabeth Frank, & Roger Stevens), and uncle (Thomas Frank).
