Emily Mae Zietz, 56. Underwood, ND died December 18, 2023 at her residence in Underwood under the care of her family and hospice.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 22, 2023 at First Assembly of God Church, Underwood.  Interment will be held in the Coleharbor Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:30PM on Thursday all at the church in Underwood.

Emily was born April 20, 1967 in Bismarck the daughter of Marvin and Donna (Skager) White.  They later divorced.  Emily was six years old when her family met the man, she would forever call "Dad" – Thomas Ray Dick.  In 1973 Thomas moved Donna and children to Missouri.  They lived on his family farm.  She attended school and graduated from school in Lockwood, MO.  Emily married Joseph Kriebs in 1991 in Jerico Springs, Missouri.  Although that marriage ended in 1997, Emily became a mother to Eleanor and Thomas.  Her children were her greatest accomplishment.  Being a single mother was hard sometimes, but her children gave her great strength.

On January 1, 1997, Emily and her children moved to Underwood, ND where they lived for eight years, they moved to Mandan in 2005.

Emily continued her education at Bismarck State College.  She received an Associate's Degree in Web Page Development and Design.  Emily married Barry Zietz on August 12, 2017 in Twin Buttes, ND.  The have resided in Underwood, ND. From this marriage, Emily's family grew, making her a grandma.  Barry's son, Ben (Tammi) Zietz have 3 daughters: Kristin, Kara and Keziah.

During her lifetime, her faith in Jesus Christ was paramount.

Emily is survived by her husband, Barry Zietz, Underwood, ND; children: Eleanor Kriebs and Thomas Kriebs, both of Bismarck, ND and Ben (Tammi) and their children, Kristin, Kara and Keziah all of Underwood; her mother, Donna Faye Dick,  Mandan, ND; brothers and sisters:  Renee (Tim) Sayler, Underwood, ND, Marva (Billy) Schnaufer, Lamar, MO, Elwyn (Christine) White, Godfrey, IL, Kevin (Penny) White, Lockwood, MO, Trent White, Jerico Springs, MO,  Gary (Nina) White, Lamar, MO, Jean (Robert) Boyd, Fair Grove, MO; mother-in-law, Lenore Zietz, Underwood, ND; bothers-in-law and sisters-in-law:  Brian (Trisha) Zietz, Marion, MT, Bob (Dietta) Zietz, Underwood, ND, Brenda (Lloyd) Hultberg, Bismarck, ND, Bonnie (Terry) Landenberger, Bismarck, Becki (Fred) Wilson, Underwood, ND, Blaine (Beth) Zietz, MN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Dick, her grandparents:  Frank and Bessie Skager and C.M. and Edna Dick; father-in-law, Lester Zietz; and a brother-in-law, Brent Zietz.
