Obituary
Ellen Mae Fred-Kirkey, age 80 of Bismarck, formerly of Wilton, passed away June 24, 2010 at the Medcenter One St. Vincent's Care Center in Bismarck.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 28th at Mission Evangelical Free Church in Wilton with Rev. Joseph Kost officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date in the Regan Cemetery
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at Mission Evangelical Free Church and will continue on Monday, one hour prior to time of service.
Ellen Mae was born June 27, 1929 in Bismarck, ND, one of fourteen children born to Jesse & Alberta (Fraser) Wilson. She attended school in Bismarck and later married Edward Fred of Wilton, ND on December 5, 1950. Ed passed away in April 1984. Ellen then married Walter "Babe" Kirkey on November 9, 1994. Walter passed away in April 2006.
She is survived by two children, Karen Fred-Ingles of Glendale, AZ, & Ron Fred of Wilton, ND; five grandchildren, Ashley Thompson, Zach Fred, Brandon Rose, Tausha Ingles, & Brittni Ingles; three great-grandchildren, Luktan Ingles, Ireland Rose, & Tessa Mae Ingles; two sisters, Helen McClure of Bismarck, ND, and Arlene Johnson of Baldwin, ND; two step-children, Darla (Scott) Roth of Lincoln, ND, and Kevin Kirkey of Bismarck, ND; and two step great-grandchildren, Kayla & Megan Roth.
