Eldora Ida Schneider, 89, Turtle Lake, ND died October 14, 2019 in the CHI Community Memorial Hospital, Turtle Lake.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake with Pastor Sondra Krogstad officiating. Interment will be in the Turtle Lake Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Eldora was born June 17, 1930 on a farm south of Dawson, ND the daughter of Christopher and Ida (Werre) Kemmet. She was raised on the farm and in Tappen, ND. She married Wilfred "Willie" Schneider on October 13, 1948 and they lived in Tappen. They moved to Turtle Lake in 1963 where Eldora worked at Gambles Store (Hardware Hank) for many years.

Eldora enjoyed reading, crocheting, baking, cooking and most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1963, Town and Country Hobby Club and the Turtle Lake American Legion Auxiliary.

Eldora is survived by her children, Wayne (Kathy) Schneider of Vienna, VA, Roberta (Alan) Okerson of Minot, ND, Roxanne Moore of Underwood, ND and Rodney Schneider of Becker, MN; her grandchildren, Brent Okerson, Anne (Jeff) Haider, Darin (Kristen) Okerson, Melanie Schneider, Erika Schneider, Nathan (Melissa) Schneider and Malory Schneider; seven great grandchildren; her brothers, Robert Kemmet of St. Paul, MN, Ronald Kemmet of Aitkin, MN, Curtis Kemmet of Fargo, ND and Randy (Denise) Kemmet of Moorhead, MN and a sister-in-law, Karen Kemmet of Alexandria, VA and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband 'Willie" in 2000; two sisters, Luella and Bernice; a brother, Walter and a son-in-law, Veach Moore.

The family prefers memorials to the Turtle Lake Ambulance Squad.
