Elaine Mann, age 90 of Bismarck, ND, formerly of rural Riverdale, ND, died Friday, November 17 at the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck.

Interment: 4:00 PM Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery in Washburn, ND;
Visitation: 5:00 - 9:00 PM Tuesday at Goetz Funeral Home - Washburn, & Wednesday,
one hour prior to time of service at the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center Chapel.

Elaine Geraldine Rosberg was born October 17, 1916 in Washburn, ND the daughter to George & Selma (Anderson) Rosberg. She attended rural school near Underwood and graduated from Underwood High School. Elaine married Richard C. Mann on October 4, 1936 at her parents home near Underwood. They lived and farmed south of Riverdale, ND for many years and raised three children. Elaine enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing cards, and embroidery work. In 1986, Richard and Elaine moved to Bismarck, ND and became members of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Elaine endured cancer surgery and Guillain-Barre Syndrome (a form of polio) and received several months of rehabilitation in 1986 and 1988. Richard, her husband of 64 years, passed away in May 2001. In 2004, she moved to the Waterford of Bismarck where she made many new friends. She became a resident of the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in 2005.

Elaine is survived by 1 Son & Daughter-in-Law: Robert & Marilyn Mann of Plentywood, MT;
2 Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Audrey & Clark Crum of Bismarck, ND, & Margaret & Robert Tollerud of Devils Lake, ND; 8 Grandchildren: John (Stephanie) Mann, Kathryn (Marvin) Eberling, Rebecca (Todd) Herreid, Lee (Jennifer) Crum, David (Linda) Crum, Beth (Roger) Laroche, Patti (Lawrence) Altman, & Bill (Diane) Tollerud; 20 Great Grandchildren: Braydon & Hayleigh Mann; Kallie & Andrew Eberling; Judith & Colter Herreid; Clark & Sarah Crum; Allison, Abigail, & Adelade Crum; Austin, Hope, Cordon, & Nathan Laroche; Zachary, Joshua, & Maxwell Altman; Emma & Caleb Tollerud.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Richard), sister (Winifred Marvin), & brother (Denver Rosberg).

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (106 Osage Ave., Bismarck, ND 58501-2673) or the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center (PO Box 607, Washburn, ND 58577).
