Obituary

Dylan R. Clouse, age 17 of Underwood, ND died November 17th, 2011 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, Nov. 23rd at Augustana Lutheran Church in Underwood with Pastor Dean Hartley officiating. Interment will be in the Black Walnut Hill Cemetery in Burlington, ND.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM Tuesday at Augustana Lutheran Church followed by a remembrance service at 7:30 PM.

Dylan was born on December 24th, 1993 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND to Jeff "Festus" Clouse and Christie (Blore) Clouse. Dylan attended grade school in Garrison, ND and continued his education in Underwood, ND. Dylan's passion was playing football for the Central McLean Cougars. He was awarded a spot on the 2011 Region 4 Nine-Man Football Honorable Mention list for his skills on the defensive line. He also participated in track and loved to play the drums. His favorite pastime was skateboarding and spending time with his friends. Dylan loved his newfound sense of freedom with his pickup the "DC Mobile" and loved spending time building his model cars. Dylan and his dad "Festus" loved going on trail rides and hunting pheasants and big game. Dylan had a candid ability to make people laugh and smile with his silly sense of humor. Dylan was especially proud to be Isabella's "Uncle DC". Dylan will be forever missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Christie (Randy) Van Asperen of Underwood, and Jeff "Festus" Clouse of Burlington, ND; brothers and sisters: Ciara Edwards of Fargo, Fallon Clouse of Minneapolis, MN, Adam Van Asperen of Bismarck, Jared Van Asperen of Bismarck, & Eric Van Asperen of Bismarck; grandparents, Beverly (Jim) Johnson of Dilworth, MN, and Andrew Clouse of Burlington, ND; one niece: Isabella Bjerke; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dylan was preceded in death by his grandmothers (Katherine Clouse and Rhoda Nickel), grandfather (James Blore), and uncle (Lance Clouse).
