Duane Hetletved, 59, of Bismarck, ND died December 12, 2015 at his residence.

In accordance with Duane's wishes, cremation has taken place.

Duane's family will be receiving friends from 10:30 AM to 12 Noon Saturday, December 19th at the Washburn Baptist Church in Washburn. A private memorial service will follow. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Riverview Cemetery of Washburn.

Duane was born July 8, 1956 in Bismarck, ND to Dale & Lucille (Fuhrman) Hetletved. He attended school in Robinson, Bismarck, and Washburn, graduating from Washburn High School in 1975. Duane worked as a McLean County Sheriff's Deputy for a short time and later started his career as a long-haul truck driver. He was employed with Jim Ressler Trucking of Bismarck for many years. Duane's trucking routes covered all of the continental United States. In his rare time away from the road, Duane enjoyed water skiing.

He is survived by his mother, Lucille Hetletved of Bismarck; four brothers, Dwight (Val) Hetletved of Washburn, Dallas (Beth) Hetletved of Turtle Lake, Dennis (Julia) Hetletved of Hammond, WI, & Drew Hetletved of Mandan. Duane is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father (Dale) in 2013.
