Duane "Paintsy" Ray Emineth, 67, Tucson, AZ formerly of Washburn, ND went home to be with his Savior on Saturday, April 30 at his residence surrounded by family.
Graveside services will be held for friends and family at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Riverview Cemetery, Washburn, ND. Josiah and Micah Kennealy will be officiating the service.
Following the service, there will be a gathering at Bryan and Earlene Rothmann's residence at 611 7 th Street Washburn, for food and a celebration of Duane's life.
Duane was born January 5, 1955 in Bismarck, ND a son to Raymond and Armella (Wilhelm) Emineth. His family moved to Washburn in 1969. After graduating he was a meat cutter at their family owned grocery store, Ray's Super Valu. He moved to Tucson, AZ in 1984 where he owned his own trucking business. He later started his own landscaping business. He continued to work in Tucson, where he met his fiancé Brenda Briggs. Duane enjoyed working on cars, tractors, farming, playing games on his computer, and took pride in landscaping for his clients. His love of landscape translated into his own yard where he had a wide variety of cacti.
He is survived by his fiancé: Brenda Briggs of Tucson, AZ; 5 siblings: Kathy Blackwell of Phoenix, AZ, Gary (Deone) Emineth of Bismarck, Karen (Jeff) Roeder of Cottage Grove, OR, Glen Emineth of Lincoln, and Earlene (Bryan) Rothmann of Washburn: two step-sisters: Kathy (Rick) Stodieck of Eagan, MN and Diane (Jonny) Nelson of Williston; nieces and nephews; Kelly (Keith) Hall, Jordan (Linsey) Roeder, John (Ronja) Roeder, Micah (Josiah) Kennealy, Mason (Rhonda) Gaston, Brittney (Matthew) Meier, Zachary (Bethany) Emineth, Austin Emineth, Bailey (Caleb) Miller, Paige Emineth, Sumer (Delven) Brushier, Chevy Emineth, step-nephew Dolan and step-niece Janessa; Great nieces and nephews: Kiera, Reagan, Grant, Aerielle, Eliah, Elon, Isaiah, Aurora, Avalon, Avery, Rhyann, Isaac, Jameson, Lyla, Aislynn, Kaire, Ezreal, Hayden and Oakley.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents, four nieces and nephews, four great nieces and nephews, stepmother, step-brother, and step-nephew.
Duane will be greatly missed. He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends. He had very witty sense of humor that never ceased.
