Dorothy left Long Island to attend Covenant College in St. Louis, MO in 1962 where she met the love of her life, David James LeRoy. Dorothy and David were married on July 11, 1964. The union of this beautiful couple created the lives of three children, Sheryl, James, and Jeffrey LeRoy. Dorothy and her husband lived on the family farm near Underwood, ND for 53 years.
In Dorothy's earlier years, she and David enjoyed singing in a group called the "Melodi Chords". Their group traveled throughout many states praising the Lord in song for over 20 years. Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and friends whether she was in Florida or North Dakota. When she was not doting on her grandchildren, she enjoyed the finer architectures in life and then decorating them. She loved beautiful flowers and the extraordinary arrangements she could make out of them. With her unique gift to decorate, Dorothy created beautiful wedding scenes for many acquaintances, family, and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, David J. LeRoy; her children, Sheryl (Steven) Ash, James (Debra) LeRoy, & Jeffrey (Tami) LeRoy; her mother, Dorothy G.
