Bob Bergquist, age 77 of Wilton, ND was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 27, 2012 with his family at his side in a Bismarck hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 31st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wilton with Father Marvin Klemmer as celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery near Wilton.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. led by Deacon Jim Nistler.

Donley "Bob" Bergquist and his twin brother Joe were born July 13, 1935 at Washburn, ND to Clarence & Esther (Olsen) Bergquist. He lived with his family in rural Washburn until moving to a farm northeast of Underwood. Bob farmed with his dad and brother until 1968. He was united in marriage to Beverly Grabinger on October 22, 1966 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Turtle Lake. In 1968, they made their home on a farm 12 miles north of Wilton. Bob retired from farming and custom combining in 2009. He remained active in ranching with his two sons until 2012. Bob's favorite pastime was playing pinochle with his friends and checking on the cattle. On his last day with us, he was able to watch his boys feed the cows. Bob was a proud father of four children and eleven grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Bev of Wilton; two sons, Brian and Bruce (Janet) Bergquist of Wilton; two daughters, Brenda (Sheldon) Schlecht of Streeter, ND, & Beth (Chad) Teiken of Mandan; eleven grandchildren, Chelsea, Rachel, Tyler, Cameron, Matt, Desarae, Keyla, Justin, Garrett, William, & Jacob; his mother, Esther Miller of Underwood; his twin brother, Joe (Paulette) Bergquist of Turtle Lake; one sister, Barbara Goehring of Jamestown; one brother-in-law, Kenneth (Donna) Grabinger of Turtle Lake; three nieces, two nephews, & many cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, one brother-in-law (Clarence Goehring), and his mother & father-in-law (Alvin & Viola Grabinger).
