Dolores D. Boutilier, 89, of Rifle, CO, formerly of Riverdale, ND, died May 31, 2022 at the Grand River Health Care Center in Rifle, CO.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Butte Cemetery, Butte, ND.

Dolores was born in Ward County on February 22, 1933, the daughter of Clarence and Rena Johnson.  She was raised and educated in Ward County.  Dolores married Frank P. Boutilier at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Minot, ND on June 27, 1951.  To this union 2 children were born, Bryan and Charlotte.  Bryan died on June 15, 2015.

Frank and Dolores lived in the Riverdale area where they lived most of their life.  When they retired and needed more assistance, they moved to Colorado to be closer to their daughter.

Dolores was a member of the Elks, and a member of St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church in Underwood.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and watching tv, especially soap operas and the news.

Frank and Dolores were happily married and they were just shy of celebrating their 71 ^st wedding anniversary.  Dolores is now at peace and out of any suffering.  She was a good hearted, strong women and will be missed.

Dolores is survived by her husband of 70 years, Frank; her daughter, Charlotte (Boutilier) Bercher; 2 grandsons:  Ryan Kersten and Robert Bercher III; great grandchildren:  Hunter, Brock and Aubrie Bercher; and her brother, Wally (Jerrilyn) Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Rena Johnson; her son, Bryan and son-in-law, Robert Bercher Jr.
