David D. Muhlbradt, 77, of Underwood, ND died January 29, 2015 at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Saturday January 31, 2015 at Augustana Lutheran Church, Underwood, ND with Pastor Anna Haugen officiating. Interment will held at a later date at the ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND as David has donated his body to UND Medical School for study.

David was born July 7, 1937 on a farm near Parshall, ND, the son of Herman and Doris (Van Sickle) Muhlbradt. He attended country school and graduated from Parshall High School in 1955. David served in the US Marine Corps for 3 years. He attained the rank of Sergeant. David married Patricia Kolden on June 12, 1960 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Roseglen, ND. Following their marriage, they farmed near Parshall. David attended Valley City State Teachers College and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in education. They lived in Grand Forks where he worked for Job Service of ND. David then went to work for Imaging Products Mfg. as a regional sales manager. He retired in 2002 and moved to Underwood.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing, training his dog, Blaze and spending time with family and friends.

David is survived by his wife, Patricia Muhlbradt, Underwood, ND; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Hunter Muhlbradt, Underwood, ND, Scott and Bridget Muhlbradt, Batavia, IL; two grandchildren: David K. (Megan) Muhlbradt, Montgomery, IL and Andrea (Jim) Cogan, Genoa, IL; one great grandson, Hunter Ryan Cogan; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Richard (Gayle) Muhlbradt, Minot, ND, Herman (Janet) Muhlbradt, Bismarck, ND and Danny (Mary) Muhlbradt, Bismarck, ND and many nieces and nephews.
