Aldinger
October 26, 1963 – November 1, 2017
David Aldinger left this life on November 1, 2017 at his home in Coleharbor, ND under the loving care of his family and CHI St. Alexius Hospice following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 6th at Augustana Lutheran Church in Underwood, ND with Pastor Anna Haugen officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Coleharbor Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at Goetz Funeral Chapel, 205 Lincoln Ave, Underwood.
David was born on October 26, 1963 in Garrison, ND to Otto and Marcella Aldinger. He was the youngest of 8 children. David attended school in Underwood. In 1985, he attended Anaconda Job Corps where he received his High School Diploma and Heavy Equipment Operations Certificate. David then went to work for Eagle's Nest in Mandan, ND.
On October 21, 1989, he married the love of his life Susanne (Kinn) on the opening day of Pheasant Season which he took part in the morning of the wedding. Everyone that knew him knows that hunting was a big part of his life and his wife shared his passion. Whatever game he brought home, she cooked it.
On March 5, 1991, he welcomed his son Brandon into the world. Tears of joy filled his eyes. On December 8, 1993, another son Dillon was born. He was ecstatic and life was perfect. He got his two hunting buddies, which he took hunting as soon as they could walk. He carried out his passion of hunting to the boys as they enjoyed numerous hunting adventures throughout the years. This last fall season, he finally got his "Wall Hanger Buck."
In 1991, David went to work for Anderson Brothers out of Minnesota which later became Anderson Western, Bismarck. In the middle of road construction season in 2001 he said he had enough of this work and went home. He was missing out on the boys' baseball games. He then went to work for Hoger Trucking. In 2002, he started working for Falkirk Mining until the time of his death. He so enjoyed being home every night.
David was an active member of the Three Affiliated Tribes and the The Harbor Angels. David served as an E.M.T. at The Falkirk Mine. He enjoyed fishing, playing Pinochle, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Susanne; his sons, Brandon of Coleharbor, ND, and Dillon (girlfriend Sabrina) of Turtle Lake; His "3 rd Kid", Eric Stebbins (although not related he considered him his son); A "grand dog" Lola; his brothers, John (Pat) & Otto (Debbie), both of Underwood; his sisters, Viola (Frank) Heinz and Marcy Seibold, both of Bismarck, and Arlene Malnourie of Underwood; Father & Mother-in-law, Marvin (Joan) Kinn; sisters-in-law, Kimberly (Todd) Sayler, and Paula (Todd) Martinson; brother-in-law, Jeff (Shelly) Kinn; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister (Laurice), brother (Arty), his fur baby Buddy, several aunts and uncles, a niece (Serrina), and several cousins.
David's family would like to thank the CHI St. Alexius Hospice and the Harbor Angels. Also, the many friends and family that showed their support in these recent months.
