Dale Kerzmann, 76, Washburn, ND died August 28, 2022 at Sanford Health, Bismarck.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake with Pastor Randy Emgarten officiating.  Interment will be held in the Turtle Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM on Thursday at the church. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Friday, also at the church.

Dale was born April 4, 1946 in Minot, ND the son of Edwin and Florence (Zenz) Kerzmann.  He was raised and educated in Turtle Lake.  He graduated from Turtle Lake High School in 1964.  After high school he farmed/ranched with his father.  He later purchased a farm east of Mercer.  He married his soulmate, Corinne Renner on June 29, 1968 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Turtle Lake.  They lived on the farm until moving to Washburn in 1986.  Dale then joined the Local Carpenter's Union and worked on various construction projects in the local area.  He retired from the union in 2008.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting guns and coins and watching old westerns and sports on television.  Dale will always be remembered for his love of gardening, especially tomatoes and planting trees.  He also enjoyed visiting and spending time with his family and many friends.  Dale was  very generous and enjoyed giving children a dollar to make them smile.

Dale is survived by his wife, Corinne Kerzmann of Washburn; his sons, Dean (Paulette) Kerzmann of Bismarck and Dusty (Maria) Kerzmann of Stanley; his grandchildren, MiKayla Brown, Jaiden Bennett and Peyton Kerzmann; his sister, Eileen (Morris) Miller of Turtle Lake and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kevin Kerzmann.
