Dale Blotske, 68, of Underwood, ND died April 29, 2022 at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck.  Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Augustana Lutheran Church, Underwood with Deacon Jodi Lorenz officiating.  Interment will be held in St. Bonaventure's Cemetery, Underwood.  The funeral service will be livestreamed at the bottom of Dale's obituary on the goetzfuneralhomes.com website.

Dale was born May 24, 1953 in McLaughlin, SD the son of John and Marion (Riehl) Blotske.  He was raised and educated in Underwood where he attended school.  Dale was united in marriage to Marcia Berg on October 25, 1975 at St. Bonaventure's Church in Underwood.   They made their home in Underwood where they raised their four children.

Dale worked for Rolfson Construction and Clairmont Construction until 1977 when he started cleaning grain with his father.  Eventually he built his own cleaner and continued on his own working as a grain cleaner for 45 years.  Dale retired in 2022.

Dale loved telling jokes and pulling pranks.  He had a strong work ethic and had strong perseverance, working through his many health struggles.

Dale is survived by his wife, Marcia Blotske of Underwood, ND; his children: Kip (Jodi Paul), Brady, Sarah and Shanna; four grandchildren:  Karsen, Kaleb, Ava and Shakira; his brothers and sisters-in-law:  Allen (JoAnn) Blotske, Joe (Laura) Blotske and Teri Blotske; his sister and brother-in-law:  Val (Curtis) Kinn and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Mary Blotske, his brother, John John Blotske, his in-laws:  Marion and Emil Berg, nephew, Sheldon Berg and sisters-in-law: Denise Berg and Julie (Eugene) Love.

Our father will be missed by many, what a blessing it has been to share our lives with him!
