Curtis "Curt" Radke, 76, Underwood, ND died August 2, 2018 at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, August 6, 2018 at Augustana Lutheran Church, Underwood with Pastor Darrel Aleson officiating. Inurnment will be held in the Underwood Cemetery. The family will be greeting family and friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.

Curt was born January 3, 1942 in Underwood the son of Carl and Esther (Kessler) Radke. He was raised and educated in Underwood. Curt graduated from the Underwood High School in 1960. He also attended Capital Commercial College in Bismarck. Curt worked as a bookkeeper for the Dixie Shop in Bismarck. He then went to work for Pacific Gamble Robinson throughout the state of North Dakota. He returned to Underwood in the early 1970's where he worked with his parents at Radke's Fairway and later Radke's Supervalu. He married Doreen (Rothmann) Miller on January 5, 1978 at the Underwood Baptist Church. They lived in Underwood where they had part ownership of Radke's Supervalu. They sold the store in 2002 and continued to live in Underwood. After selling the store, Curt worked at Falkirk Mine as a security officer.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and bowling. Curt was a member of the Underwood United Methodist Church where he served as Treasurer. He was also a member of the Underwood Commercial Club.

Curt is survived by his brothers, Richard (Jacque) Radke of Underwood and Eugene (Michelle) Radke of Mandan, ND; his step-daughters, DeAnn Miller and Laurel Miller (Kenneth Stadick) all of Underwood; his step-son, Monte (Wendy) Miller of Washburn; his step-grandchildren, Sydney (Abram) Haich, Sumner Boschert, McKenzie Miller and Jacob Miller; many nieces and nephews and his cat, Bambi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Doreen in 2015 and a nephew Chauncey Radke.
