Connie Glavkee, 96, of Wilton, died January 28, 2016 at the Sanford Health Sunset Drive Continuing Care Center in Mandan.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church in Wilton with Pastor Paul Schauer officiating. Burial will take place in the Spring in the Rosehill Cemetery, rural Wilton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to time of service at the church.

Cornelia was born August 14, 1919 in Wilton, ND, the daughter to Cornelius & Amanda Johnson. She attended Glenview School near Baldwin, ND for several years. She married Carl J. Glavkee on December 19, 1940 in Mandan. They lived on her grandparents homestead northwest of Baldwin for 49 years. Connie loved to work in her garden and raised sheep, chickens, & geese. She loved animals and once raised a rabbit in her home for seven years. Connie had a love and talent for music, she could play any type of instrument. She enjoyed helping out her neighbors whenever needed. She and Carl retired from the farm in 1989 and moved into Wilton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Carl) in 1995, and a brother Ingvold Johnson.
