Obituary

Clinton Robert Jerkovich, 48, of Mercer, ND died from injures sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, June 7, 2026. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Clinton was born on August 18, 1977, in Anchorage, Alaska. He grew up in Wasilla, Alaska, where he developed the values and interests that would remain with him throughout his years. From a young age, Clint was artistically and musically inclined. He enjoyed writing songs and playing guitar, using music to express himself and connect with others. He also loved spending time fishing, finding peace and joy in nature.

Clint had a special bond with his beloved dogs, Zorro and Bumper, who were loyal companions throughout his life.

In 2010, Clint moved to North Dakota and later worked in Bismarck, where he pursued his dream of becoming a tattoo artist. His artistic talent and determination were evident in everything he did.

In September 2016, Clint married Amanda. The couple later made their home in Ham Lake, Minnesota. The couple later separated.

He recently moved to Mercer, North Dakota.

Clint will be remembered as a kind-hearted and creative soul whose passion for music, art, and the outdoors touched the lives of those who knew him. He leaves behind memories of music, laughter, friendship, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Sandy Jerkovich, biological father Mike Janulewicz, daughter, Rylee Horton, brother, Joe (Sara) Jerkovich, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Clint was preceded in death by his father, Joe C. Jerkovich, biological mother, Sue Oliver, and his grandparents.
