Obituary

Clifford Stadick, age 83 of Underwood, ND, died Monday, October 16, 2006 at the Prairieview Nursing Home in Underwood.

Funeral Services: 10:00 AM Friday, Oct. 20, 2006;
St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church - Underwood, ND;
Rev. Frank J. Schuster, Celebrant;
Interment: St. Bonaventure's Catholic Cemetery - Underwood, ND;
Visitation: 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM Thursday at Goetz Funeral Home - Underwood;
Friday, 1 hour prior to time of service at the church.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM Thursday at St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church

Clifford Raymond Stadick was born November 20, 1922 at Underwood, ND the son to Alfred & Rose (Kowarsch) Stadick. He was raised on his parent's farm and attended school in Underwood. Cliff graduated from Underwood High School in 1940. He married Inez P. Ash on April 9, 1944 at Underwood. They made their home in Underwood where Cliff worked for the Standard Oil Company. He later owned and operated Knutson Implement in Underwood along with his friend, Max Guenthner.
Due to health reasons, Cliff semi-retired in 1973. He worked part-time driving a bulk truck for the Farmers Union Oil Co. for several years. His wife, Inez, passed away in April 1993. Cliff enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends. He was an active member of the Underwood Senior Center and the St. Bonaventure's Catholic Church. He became a resident of the Prairieview Nursing Home in June 2005.

He is survived by five children, 1 Son & Daughter-in-Law: Ashley (Becky) Stadick of Garden City, KS; & 4 Daughters & Sons-in-Law: LaRae (Roger) Krumwiede of Medicine Lake, MT, Penny (Jim) Scheer of Underwood, ND, Gwen (Loren) Scheer of Box Elder, SD, & Holly (Terry) Dammann of Underwood, ND;
13 Grandchildren & 26 Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Leone Asch of Portland, OR;
1 Sister-in-Law, Ione Stadick of Phoenix, AZ; and many Nieces & Nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife (Inez), brother (Art), &
brother-in-law (Leland).
