Clay Robert Tweeten "Tweeter" was born on March 11, 1988 during a spring blizzard, a son to Rob & Bonnie (Reiser) Tweeten. Clay grew up on his family farm and ranch where he developed his strong work ethic working alongside his dad and brother. Clay was strong willed and had a heart of gold. Charismatic and charming, Clay was a "schmoozer" who could visit with anyone.

As a young boy, he loved "coon" hunting with the dogs and playing hockey in Hazen. As he grew, he loved riding horses, roping, and working livestock. The neighbor ranch cooks spoiled him by always making his favorite foods. Zingg family snow skiing trips were a favorite of his. Clay excelled at the sport of saddle bronc riding where he won numerous awards and enjoyed rodeos.

Clay was a skilled equipment operator, helping in numerous construction projects and was known for building a good fence. He was currently employed with Knife River Corporation in Bismarck.

Clay was an avid reader. He enjoyed all types of music and was known to sing karaoke. His quick and witty sense of humor was enjoyed by many. His laugh...one of a kind...will be missed and remembered often. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Bonnie (Reiser) Tweeten; his brother, Luke Tweeten (Courtney Bahm); a special friend, Angie Lorenz; and grandpas, Clinton Tweeten and Delmar Reiser.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Sharyll Tweeten and Carol Reiser.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Home on the Range Saddle Bronc Ride in honor of Clay.
