Clark Jesz, age 63 of Turtle Lake, ND died Friday, March 13, 2009 at his home following a struggle with health problems.

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday at Goetz Funeral Home – Turtle Lake;
Tuesday, one hour prior to time of service at the church.
Clark H. Jesz was born January 17, 1946 on a farmhouse south of Butte, ND to Harold & Esther (Jans) Jesz. He grew up on the family farm north of Turtle Lake and attended rural school. Clark worked as a hired hand for Leland "Squeaky" Gross for several years. He later worked various construction and farming related jobs for many years. Clark married Bev Wardner on March 27, 1976. In the fall of 1993, he and Bev purchased the café in Turtle Lake and have owned and operated Bev's Café until the present day. In conjunction with working at the café, Clark was actively involved in the recycling industry with his brother Arden. He is remembered for his ability to invent and fabricate equipment from his own ideas and concepts. Clark was an avid antique collector, collecting items that include model cars, tractors, Coca-Cola memorabilia & Avon bottles. He enjoyed playing cards, especially Pinochle and Whist, and shooting pool.
He is survived by his wife, Bev Jesz of Turtle Lake; one daughter, Alexis Jesz of Turtle Lake; two brothers, Warren Jesz of Minot, & Arden (Maureen) Jesz of Minot; one sister, Becky (Jim) Zueger of Sidney, MT; and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother (Marlo), one infant brother, two infant sisters, and a nephew (Cory Zueger).
