Carrie Brokofsky, age 69 of Minot, ND, formerly of New Town, Parshall, & Turtle Lake, ND, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at a Minot hospital.

Funeral Services: 10:30 AM Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006;
Goetz Funeral Home Chapel - Turtle Lake, ND;
Rev. Randy Emgarten, Officiating;
Interment: Turtle Lake Cemetery;
Visitation: 1 hour prior to time of service at the funeral home.

Carrie was born October 22, 1937 at Elbowwoods, ND the daughter to Jack & Leontine Lonefight. She was raised and educated in New Town, ND. Carrie lived in Parshall, ND for many years and married Elmer Brokofsky on December 21, 1981 at Turtle Lake, ND. The couple made their home in Turtle Lake for many years. Elmer passed away on October 1, 2001. Carrie continued to make her home in Turtle Lake before moving to Mandan, ND for a short time. She became a resident of the Trinity Homes of Minot in 2004. Carrie enjoyed watching movies, word finds, crossword puzzles, and sewing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by 2 Daughters, Julie (Brad) Kuntz of Fargo, ND, & Lisa Lonefight of Fargo, ND; 6 Grandchildren, Payton, Garrett, Skylar, Preston, Curtis, & Jon Jon;
2 Sisters, Donna Conklin & Corliss Grady of New Town, ND,
& 2 Brothers, Wade White Body & Donald Lonefight of New Town, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Elmer), & 1 Brother (Franklin).
