Carol A. Kuball, 68, formerly of Washburn, ND died July 7, 2019 at the Baptist Health Care Center, Bismarck, ND. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday July 11, 2019 at First Lutheran Church, Washburn with Pastor Erik Johnson officiating. Inurnment will be held in the Riverview Cemetery.

Carol was born on September 20, 1950 in McVille, ND to Martin and Doris (Enstad) Halvorson. Her grandparents were Christian and Marie (Bolken) Enstad and Reier and Pauline (Johnson) Halvorson.

She was raised on a farm near Pekin, ND. Carol attended grade school in Pekin and graduated from Tolna High School in 1968. She attended Mayville State College and graduated in 1970 with an Associate of Arts Degree. She then moved to Langdon and worked with the Corp of Engineers. While attending Mayville State College she met Dale and they were married in the Pekin Lutheran Church on June 25, 1971. In August 1971, they moved to Superior, Wisconsin where Carol worked as a purchasing agent for the Lakehead Pipe Line Corporation.

In the spring of 1977 Dale and Carol along with their two oldest boys moved to Underwood, ND and in 1978 moved to Washburn, ND where Carol thoroughly enjoyed watching her three sons participate in sports, especially baseball, following them to all corners of the state. She was an active member of First Lutheran Church in Washburn and participated in the FLCW, Quilting Club, Circle, bible studies and many fundraising projects. Just as she had loved to help her parents on the farm, she continued her love of helping others by participating in many volunteer activities. Carol enjoyed the company of everyone she came in contact with and cherished each and every one. Everywhere she went it seemed that she would bump into someone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Dale of Pekin, ND; her three sons and their families, Steven and Claudia (Carr) Kuball and their children, Troy, Leah and Elly all of Bismarck, Timothy and Courtney (Guilfoyle) Kuball and their children, Claira and Irie all of Green River, Wyoming and Justin and Jennifer (Osadchuk) Kuball and their children, Vada, Quincy and Van all of Bismarck; her sisters, Paulette (Keith) Trego of Bismarck and Cleo (Darryl) Smithwick of Ramsey, MN and several nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the McLean County Resource Center or the Washburn Library.
