Betty Luithle, 65, from Underwood, ND formerly of Minot, ND died April 2, 2022 at Sanford Health, Bismarck.  Family and friends will be able to sign a guestbook register at S&H Janitorial Meeting Space at 1800 4th Avenue NW in Minot on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 4-7pm.

Betty was born January 13, 1957 in Garrison, ND the daughter of Irvin "Swede" and Alice (Swenson) Bauer.  She was raised and educated in Garrison where she graduated from high school in 1975.  She then lived with the Moll and Daffe families as a young adult.  She moved to Montana with the Daffe family and worked in a hotel as a housekeeper.  She then moved to Minot where she attended Northwest Bible College.  Betty married Byron Luithle on July 19, 1980 at the Washburn Baptist Church.  They lived on the family farm where they started to raise their family.  She also sold floral arrangements in area businesses.  They moved to Minot in 1985 where Betty worked as a florist and as an event decorator for many years.  Betty later worked for Choice Hotels and as a home agent for Sitel until her passing.

She enjoyed crafting, baking, decorating cakes, collecting bells and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  Betty was also a member of West Minot Church of God and the Assembly of God in Minot.

Betty is survived by her husband, Byron of Underwood; her son, Aaron (Kasey) Luithle of Fort Worth, TX; her daughters, Heidi (Steve) Lindsay of Minot and Amy (Brandon) Brock of Texas; her grandchildren, Zackariah, Mariah and Geremiah; her brothers, Henry Bauer of Garrison and Lewis (Brenda) Bauer of Douglas, ND; her sisters, Nancy Germain of Bismarck, Pamela Frick of Independence, MO, Marilyn Hetletvedt of Jamestown, ND and Kathy Stowe of Arizona; many nieces and nephews; Donn and Terry Daffe of Washington and Jerald and Phyllis Daffe of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Myles; an infant sister, Karen and John and Hilda Daffe.
