Arvilla Leidholm 1927–2016 Le Sueur —Arvilla Leidholm, of Le Sueur, MN passed away peacefully on September 2, 2016 in Southlake, TX at the age of 89.

Arvilla was born in rural Underwood, ND on August 6, 1927 to Henry and Lena Gutknecht. She was raised on a farm west of Underwood near the Missouri River, attended grade school in a nearby country school and graduated from Underwood High School in 1946. She married Raymond H. Leidholm, also of Underwood, ND on June 20, 1948. Together they raised four children and operated a propane delivery business. After moving to Le Sueur, MN in 1968, Arvilla enjoyed working for Hartmann's Department Store for many years until her retirement. She liked working with the public and helping numerous customers and friends.

As a devout Lutheran, Arvilla was an active member of Birka Lutheran Church in Washburn, ND, Augustana Lutheran Church in Underwood, ND, and First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur, MN. She valued her relationship with God, her church, and fellow parishioners.

Arvilla is survived by her three children, sons Monte of Littleton, CO and Jody (Lynn) of Littlefork, MN and daughter Pam (David) Kraker of Keller, TX. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, infant son Ricky, great grandson, Cameron Leidholm-Dill, her parents, Henry and Lean Gutknecht, her brothers, Harley, Dallas, and Lonnie.

A graveside service will be held at Birka Lutheran Church in rural Washburn, ND on October 7, 2016 at 2:00pm.
