Arnold Lee Wall, 79, of rural Mercer, ND died on Monday, September 14, 2026, at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND. Funeral Service will be held at Turtle Lake Baptist Church on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 10:00AM. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck, ND at 1:00PM.

Arnold “Arnie” was born on April 7, 1947, in Bismarck, North Dakota, to Albert and Pearle (Triska) Wall. He was raised on the family farm southeast of Mercer, where he learned early in life the value of hard work, perseverance, and helping those around him. Arnie attended school in Mercer through the 11th grade.

Arnie was a caring man with a generous heart who was always willing to lend a hand to neighbors and friends. If someone needed help, Arnie was often there, ready to do whatever he could. He also had a stubborn streak and was constantly on the move—qualities that those who knew him best came to know, love, and perhaps occasionally shake their heads at.

Throughout his life, Arnie found happiness in the simple things. He loved taking road trips, whether there was a particular destination in mind or simply an opportunity to get out and see where the road might lead. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and the peaceful moments that came with a day spent near the water. He also enjoyed attending auction sales, always curious to see what might be found and enjoying the people and conversations along the way.

He is survived by his brothers, Donald “Donnie” (BJ) Wall and Larry (Kathy) Wall, nephews, Leslie and Matthew Wall, niece, RaeAnn Wall, great-nephew, Austin Wall.

Arnie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Rodney Wall, nephew, Jason Wall.

He is with God, his heavenly father and Jesus his heavenly savior. Arnie had a heart of gold and was blessed by God.
