Arlin R. Kemmit, 82, of Turtle Lake, ND died December 9, 2019 at CHI Community Memorial Hospital, Turtle Lake.  Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Turtle Lake with Pastor Sondra Krogstad officiating. Inurnment will be held in the Turtle Lake Cemetery.

Arlin was born February 26, 1937 in Turtle Lake the son of John and Pauline (Lick) Kemmit. He was raised and educated in Turtle Lake. He graduated from Turtle Lake High School in 1956. Arlin married Connie Zingg on September 29, 1957 in Washburn, ND. Together they had seven children, Duane, Jim, Milton, Cory, Myra, Audrey and an infant son. Arlin worked as a welder, collected scrap metal from area farmers and also drove truck for area farmers. He enjoyed wood working, painting and visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Connie and their children, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren

Arlin was preceded in death by his parents, his sons, Milton and one in infancy and a sister, Shirley Peterson
