Annie Lelm, age 91 of Bismarck, formerly of Turtle Lake, ND, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake, ND;
Rev. Timothy Solberg, Officiating;

Interment: St. John's Lutheran Cemetery – rural Turtle Lake, ND;

Visitation: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM Sunday at Goetz Funeral Home – Turtle Lake;
Monday, one hour prior to time of service at the church.

Annie was born August 24, 1916 to Konrad & Marie (Fiesel) Presser on her parent's homestead sixteen miles north of Turtle Lake, ND. As a child, she lived on the family farm and attended rural school. Annie married George Lelm on Sept. 28, 1938 at the Konrad Presser home. Annie and George farmed on the Otto Lelm homestead until 1973 when they moved into Turtle Lake. George passed away November 17, 1977. Annie and her sister-in-law, Ruth Presser, catered many weddings and special events for a number of years. Annie was known for her fun nature and lighting firecrackers to liven up get-togethers. An excellent cook, she will be remembered for her delicious strudel, cheese buttons, giblet dressing, and potato salad. Annie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the 29th Homemakers Club. She enjoyed embroidering dishtowels, playing pinochle and spending time with her family. Annie moved to Bismarck in May 1998 and became a resident of the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in June 2000.

She is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Carol) Lelm of Turtle Lake, ND, Vyron (Jeanette) of Turtle Lake, ND, & Gerald (Charlene) Lelm of Bismarck, ND; ten grandchildren & sixteen great grandchildren, Lori (Leon) Schlafmann and children John, Saundra, & Cameron. Lona (Eric) Johnson and children Elizabeth, Matthew, Joseph, & Samantha. Lyle (Amy) Lelm and son Kaleb. Lynn (Stacy) Lelm and children Neil & Emily. Lonnie (Lisa) Lelm and children Justine & Landen. Dean (Teresa) Lelm and children Lexi & Alex. Alan (Jackie) Lelm and children Jacob & Grace. Shawna (Trevor) Retterath, Allie Lelm, & Jenny Lelm; one great-great grandson, Kyen Johnson;
& many nieces and nephews.

Annie was the last surviving member of the Konrad and Marie Presser family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son (Virgil), six brothers (Conrad, Reuben, Herman, Gust, Ernest, Albert), & five sisters (Alvina, Verona, Leona, Marie, Esther).
