Ann E. Wagner, 65, Washburn, ND died March 31, 2016 at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, ND. Cremation has taken place and a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM Saturday June 11, 2016 at St. Edwin's Catholic Church, Washburn. Father Patrick Cunningham and Deacon Keith Due will officiate. There will be a Vigil/Wake service at 7:00 PM Friday June 10, 2016 also at the church. Family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Ann was born May 20, 1950 in Riverdale, ND the daughter of Ralph and Bethel (Livingston) Ekstrom. She was raised and educated in Riverdale. Ann married Francis "Jim" Wagner Sr. on October 26, 1968 in Riverdale. They lived in Underwood and Riverdale where they raised their four sons. Ann was an excellent cook and catered for many weddings. She also cooked for many area restaurants. They moved to Washburn in 1985 and Ann continued to cater and cook.

Ann was a member of St. Edwin's Catholic Church. In addition to her cooking, Ann enjoyed reading, sewing, arranging flowers and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ann will always be remembered for her willingness to laugh and her love shown to her family.

Grateful to have shared in Ann's life include in her husband, Francis "Jim" Wagner Sr.; her sons, Francis Wagner Jr. of Washburn, Scott J. (Denise) Wagner of Denton, TX, Tim J. (Lisa) Wagner of Elk River, MN; 6 grandchildren, Tawny Wagner, Grant and Eli Wagner, Ashley, Cody and Aaron Wagner; her brothers, Ron (Veronica) Ekstrom of Stanton, ND, Jeff (Susan) Ekstrom of Garrison, ND, Gary Ekstrom of Virginia Beach, VA and Tom Ekstrom of Bismarck, ND; her sisters, Elaine (Gerald) Grimsley of Rock Valley, IA, Merna (Tom) Delzer of Garrison, ND, Judy (Dave) Chipwood of Bismarck, ND and Vicki Fredericks of Bismarck; and many nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Michael James Wagner and three brothers, David, Herb and Dennis Ekstrom
