Aaron P. Frank was born August 27, 1983 in Bismarck, ND, to Robert & Marlene (Stevens) Frank. He was raised in Washburn and baptized at First Lutheran Church. Aaron graduated from Washburn High School in 2002. As a young boy, he was active in Cub Scouts and Tae Kwon Do, achieving his black belt in 1996. Following high school, Aaron followed his older brothers into the carpentry vocation, doing deck building, framing, and siding work. He took pride in the projects he worked so diligently on and never settled for less than his best. Aaron loved spending time at the river with all its mysteries. He could often be found beside a campfire along the river, enjoying the sunset or stargazing at night. He loved fishing and being surrounded by nature. A big part of Aaron's life was his music. He loved listening to all kinds of music. He would sit for hours playing his guitar and was a very gifted artist. Family time was especially important to Aaron. One of the highlights of his life was spending time with his niece and nephews. He would plan all kinds of fun activities to do together and recently finished constructing a tree fort for them in the backyard. Aaron held a special place in their hearts and they never grew tired of playing or cuddling up with their "fun" Uncle Aaron.

Those grateful to have shared his life include his parents, Robert & Marlene Frank of Washburn; brother, Christopher Frank of Moorhead, MN; grandmother, Shirley Stevens of Mandan; four nephews, Zachary Frank of Clear Lake, SD, Logan Frank of Moorhead, Matthew & Michael Frank of Valley City; one niece, McKenzie Frank of Valley City; and many uncles, aunts, & cousins.

Aaron was preceded in death by one brother (Eric Frank), his grandparents (Emil & Elizabeth Frank, and Roger Stevens), & one uncle (Thomas Frank).
