Heather Ann Presser

Heather Presser, age 10 of Turtle Lake, ND passed from this earth on Sunday, August 5th, 2012 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Turtle Lake due to injuries sustained in an A.T.V. accident near her home. Heaven needed an angel.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 9th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake with Pastor Betty Stedman officiating. Interment will follow in the Turtle Lake Cemetery.

A family service will be held 4:30 P.M. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with public visitation from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M at the church.

Heather Ann was born to Troy and Annette Presser on October 8th, 2001, and would have been a 5th grader at Turtle Lake–Mercer Elementary School this fall. She was a beautiful little girl, who lived her life as we all should. Just by being herself, she made a difference in this world. She was the happiest girl you ever met, always willing to help others and make friends wherever she went. Heather knew how to dream big, yet she was grateful for all that she had, and quick to acknowledge with a thank you. Heather knew she was loved and was able to share that love back with all of us. Whether through a long hug, a cuddle on your lap, a peck on the cheek, or the words themselves, she was never shy about saying I love you. Heather loved to do many things. The typical country girl activities of taking care of animals, 4-H, gardening, helping on the farm, hunting in all seasons, and just playing outside were tops on her list. She also loved to make music, dress up, play basketball, swim, ride horse, and spend time with family and friends. Heather was an adventurous girl too, who loved to explore and learn new things.

Those grateful to have shared in her beautiful life include her parents, Troy & Annette Presser of rural Turtle Lake; sister Megan, & brother Tyler; grandparents, Dale & LoAnne Jorgensen of McClusky, and Gary & Judy Presser of rural Mercer; uncle Trent Presser of Silver City, NM, aunt Trudy & Tom Gunderson of Eden Prairie, MN and cousins Turner & Tatum, aunt Sandy & Kevin Slagg of Turtle Lake and cousin Cameron, aunt Lisa and Brent Lipelt of Bismarck and cousin Cassidy; and countless friends. She will be missed by all of us.
